Stitch pattern from a free pattern from Wendy D Johnson (Finer PeaceSocks) and the Gusset Heel heel design from her “Socks from the Toe Up” book.

Starting again with the next larger needle. Too tight around my foot on 2 mm.

The cuff rib I used over the 36 st of each side was:
P, K4, P2, K4, P2, K4, P2, K4, P2, K4, P2, K4, P
…which fits well with the main pattern.
