Mods:
used 2.5mm needles rather than 2mm for working the small size - this fit perfectly. The 2mm had worked up too tightly for me.

Made them a little shorter than the pattern suggested.

Beautiful pattern stitch, utterly beguiling. The socks grew without effort.
