Notes

The stitch used is the Honeycomb Brioche Stitch from Nancy Merchant’s “Knitting Brioche” book.

The pictures do not do the colors justice…. :(

Also, I cast on a bit too tight…. so hopefully when I block this it will even out a bit…

11/19 - So I think it’s the stitch, but holy cow did this stretch when I got it wet to do the blocking. And I guess I shouldn’t call it blocking when I really just wanted to even up the edges. But I mean… it’s probably double the size… in all directions. And I could stretch it length-wise or stretch it width-wise. It’s the coolest thing…. except the fact that it is no longer “pidge sized”. I’ve made it fat so hopefully it will still fit length wise around the neck to button perfectly in the front. I guess we’ll see tomorrow!

I’m curious if there’s a way to make this stitch stay the same size. Because even if I didn’t try to block the edges I still would have had to wash it sometime or another, right???

11/29 - Okay, so when it dried it was PERFECT!
