Notes

This is my first attempt at a bag.

I made the medium size which was much smaller than I expected because I did not use a ruler to look at the listed dimensions before I started. The small must be very small. The bag is large enough for all of my essentials, so it’s worked out fine.

For the next one I would use all cotton or wool. For color reasons and lack of desire to go outside and buy new yarn, I mixed cotton with acrylic. I do like the effect.

After watching the video tutorials on the pattern designer’s website, it was easy to understand, but I did need to play the videos several times. When I read the pattern before I saw the videos, I was confused. The videos are great.

The one week later note: The bag is really growing on me. I’ve been able to totally downsize from a huge heavy bag to a small bag carrying just the essentials. A lot of compliments on the bag and I like that I have different textures of mixed yarn types. Using the bag every day now.
