Notes

Had to go all the way down to a US4 to get gauge! Very clever pattern once I got used to the notation of the German short rows.

12/11: Finished the first slipper last night. Haven’t picked out or put on buttons yet.

12/21: Finished the second slipper a couple days ago and realized I did it wrong somehow. The buttonholes were on the wrong side. I would try to salvage that, but the I-cord was also too tight so I just ripped back to re-do the I-cord.

12/24: redid the second boot and am very pleased with it. Unfortunately I forgot to bring the skein of yarn with me, and have to wait to finish it until I get home later this week. Still need to get buttons.
