This is a test knit for TinCanKnits

I couldn’t get 18st/4in with my yarn. I got 16st on 8s and 17st on 7s. I didn’t want to get any tighter. The yarn is really elastic and stringy while knitting, but softened nicely in my swatch.

11/13: Finished four balls of yarn (700yds) halfway through Row 5 of Chart D. I hope I am more than halfway through the knitting. This project is not happy on my hands, maybe the yarn should be knitted at a looser gauge.

11/15: Finished fifth ball of yarn on last round of Chart D. 14 more rounds to go!!

Finished sixth ball on Round 9 of Chart E, and finished the seventh ball 3/4 of the way through binding off.

11/18: Blocked measurements are 36” square. My cabled rounds were really tight, so they stopped me from stretching it much farther, though the ribbing could have blocked more. I maybe should have done the cabled section on a larger needle.
