Final thoughts: I’m not sold on it. It was a bit of a gamble. My sweater ended up the right measurements (plus a few inches of length) but because of the yarn it looks like a big ‘ole sack on me. Sometimes you can see the cables a little more than in the pictures. It is super cozy so I will wear it around the house, but I am overall not that pleased with it. I put my buttons down a little lower because I lengthened the body, but I should have kept them up a little higher because the gap is a little too large on the sides. Eh.

This is an iffy choice using such a fuzzy and busy yarn for this. I really wanted to finally use this out of my stash! I have a 36-38” bust, but went for the small anyway.

10/1: Finished the front. I knit 2 or 3 inches longer than the pattern. I had wanted to extend it, plus I just breezed by where I was supposed to stop. Even ripped back a bit. Started into the 3rd skein a bit on the front. Should have plenty of yarn. This yarn sheds while knitting and makes me sneeze.

10/23: Finished knitting last night. It is pretty large and shapeless. I am worried that blocking will make it grow huge… I need to sew on buttons but will do that tonight.
