I used this “DK” weight instead of the aran in the pattern. And no way is this DK! Maybe at some parts, but mostly it was aran or thicker. I thought about making it shorter and making matching mitts, but went the whole 6 repeats. It does compress when you’re wearing it, so it doesn’t seem too big. But holding it up, it’s about a foot tall! I put it on over a tank top, and it was a full-on tube top.

There was a knot in each ball. Once, it disrupted the color sequence, but it was near the end of the ball, and without that last section of yarn it flowed nicely into the second ball.
