Yarn is handspun from BFL handdyed by Capistrano Fiber Arts. 8 oz spun forward draw and navajo plied for a bulky 3-ply. I wanted long color repeats so spun across all four rovings simultaneously. The staple length was a little long for the short color sections, so the result is a somewhat marled yarn in sections. Started date is when I started spinning the yarn.

I cast on 18 stitches.

11/17: I’ve knit up about 2/3 of my yarn. It is a pretty good length, and I was going to block it out a bit. I’m making a hat to match it!

While blocking it was 6” wide and maybe 60” long. I think it might have reverted back afterwards. It seemed closer to 6 feet later. Used about 6oz of fiber, maybe 160 yds.
