Notes

Restarted. Previously attempted 12/28. My first one was tiny and I started over for the GAL2015. First time on 0s, this time on 3s.

12/10/15: My gauge was just barely larger than the pattern this time, so I made the smaller size. I was hoping this would fit Lucas’s mom, but these are way too big for that. These fit my 8 1/2 feet. But, I dunno. They look cute. I think they need to be smaller to stay on. I might add some elastic thread later around the top edge to snug it up a bit. The slippers are also so shallow that they want to slip off. I even added an extra row in. There are a couple small mistakes in the pattern, but pretty easy to figure out. The third picture shows how much smaller the first slipper was compared to my redo slippers.

1/1/15:These are not comfortable on my hands! Yikes.

I didn’t check gauge because I normally have a loose gauge. After finishing an entire slipper I realize that my slipper is tiny. My gauge is extremely tight and the gauge in the pattern actually isn’t that tight for worsted weight yarn. I will try these again with a much bigger needle.
