I’m making this for my Jazzercise mentor who has been helping me train to be an instructor. Her US citizenship test is the same week as my certification!

7/21: Cast on last night. I’ve done one repeat of chart 1. It’s a little hard to see the pattern, but I am going to stick with my gauge anyway. I’ve just got a few weeks to finish this.

8/2: Started the second ball after two rows of Chart 3. I only have a week to finish this by the time I want it to be done! Just started the edging chart. To get the double decreases to line up, I had to add a SSK in stitch 42 on the first line of the chart. I don’t know if this is an error in the pattern or if my stitch counts were off coming into this chart. I’m not seeing a mistake on my part, but I could always be wrong!

8/6: Bound off! Just need to block it. Used less yarn than I thought I would. Maybe less than 1.5.
