Notes

What took me so long to knit this??

I powered through this in two weeks, thanks in large part to a road trip. To say I was obsessed is an understatement. I love it so much. Yarn is amazing as well.

A few mods:

  • knit ribbing in size 7 needles.
  • didn’t want such big holes along raglan increases so did m1/ backward loop instead of YO. Still did YO at waist detail, though.
  • did 3 rounds of waist decreases and 2 hip increases.
  • started waist cable sooner, with YO in set up row. Also did P1 instead of P2 in this sequence.
  • full length sleeves, used 4 decreases. Had JUST enough yarn with 5 skeins, just a couple yards left!

NOTE:
I really need to learn that sweaters stretch with blocking!! Wish I had knit one size smaller as I KNEW that TFA yarn, especially, relaxes. Anyways. Still a good fit, just more relaxed.
The neck did stretch too much after several wears, though- I added a chain of crochet as suggested by many and that did the trick.

My absolute favourite sweater to date!
