For those not tall and willowy, I made the pattern shorter.

Cast on and rib as per pattern.
Work one repeat of chart.
Work first decrease row.
Repeat chart and decrease rows 6 more times (46 sts)
Then follow the pattern as written.

I’m only 5 ft tall and these directions made the gloves fit perfectly.
