This week it went from being in the 70’s to about a 55 degree F high overnight. For us Californians, that means winter. For Ohioans and other midwesterners, that means it’s fall and winter is around the corner. Since I’m not the latter, I immediately decided I needed a cowl to go with my fleece since I was freezing my ass off and was tempted to break my Uggs out. Then I found Fourteen…
That brioche stitch is a crazy bitch. I could not figure out how it worked at all last night. I finally found a version of Fisherman’s Rib (the same thing for those who don’t know) that was so much easier and explained step by step, with pictures. I love the yarn and it’s coming along now.

Finished pattern. I love the fisherman’s rib. It’s super stretchy and warm. Now I just need to find the perfect buttons.

Bought the most perfect buttons this afternoon and they are now sewn on. Finished pics to come soon.
