light lacey silver scrolls…

2011-08-10, 6pm- ripped out b/c my count is off between repeat i’m knitting now and repeats i knit a year ago. looks 100% different. debating marking it frogged or trying again.
9:30pm, will knit this in another yarn at another time.

2011-08-10- pulled out for commute knitting. I set this aside for a year? Yikes. Did one row on morning commute (need to bind off socks) and the HiyaHiyas seem slippery. Think I need to locate 3.25mm bamboo circs.

20100803, 7am- slow. lovely.
20100802, 6pm- aah, that’s more like it. cranking through the first repeat.
20100802, 7am- wasn’t really paying attention (nor had I consumed any tea or coffee yet) and thought that it took me a lot longer to knit on 72 stitches that it does. Took 3 counts and ripping out about 30 stitches but I got there. Doing one extra width repeat because 7 makes me happier than 6 (repeats) and I have 500 yards of lace. The Tess is a very sticky single ply. Not sure I’ll need to worry about a lifeline for the sake of if it fell off the neeeles but how do I hope I don’t have to rip back. the colour makes me smile. Lots. Thus only completed one row on the train. Curious how much I knit on the way home.
20100801- must be on a scarf kick. bound off one, starting another? will attempt to CO this in the morning. bah. we’ll see how many times i miscount. ;)
