Notes

2011-02-25- i wove in the ends this morning. repeat. i wove in the ends of a pair of socks for me. WOW. also surprised they came out at 50g. :)
2011-02-24- final rounds while watching final launch of discovery. bound off after successful & safe entry into space.
2011-02-16- picked back up after a hiatus to knit the 6 hour mulberry hat. was cruising along on afternoon commute only to RIP OUT THE NEEDLE (magic loop) uggs. the light was terrible and it took 25 minutes to pickup the stitches on half of both socks. SIGH these do make good knitting to david eddings malloreon series (as audio book)
2011-02-10, 9:30pm- finished heel on pm commute. started leg after that scary snip. just tried them on, and i want to marry them.
2011-02-08, am- leg lifelines last night, on heel decreases this morning. since the windchill reads 6 °F (-14 °C) right now for NYC, the question is will i make the leg as long as I desire or give up and go for short warm toes and ankles?
2011-02-07- passed the heel increase row on the afternoon commute. maybe leg lifelines by wednesday? that’d be nice!
2011-02-03- slog through slush? knit them together on my morning commute again. le sigh
2011-01-31- can i knit these any SLOWER? it’ll be august if all i knit is three rounds a day
2011-01-24- it’s -14 °C (-22 °C windchill) and these socks are taking forever. perhaps it’s because i’m not knitting on them as much as I should. sigh maybe I knitted an inch all last week?
2011-01-18- finally decided, 1x1 rib on foot.
2011-01-15, 10pm- 60 stitches after toe increases. Would almost call this light fingering! i love it though and wish i had time to knit JUST these.
2011-01-14- finished e’s socks, i want a pair of my own. same deal, two up. debating pure plain vs a little detail.
