20100222- finally found the other one shadow (my kitten) stole it for a while. the second one is good and eventually i’ll redo the first but i’m wearing them anyway and they’ve mildly felted and are warm and comfy and awesome.
20100119- my seams suck because I’ve done so much seamlessly lately. going to make sure the second mitt seam is good then pick and redo the first one because it should be done proper. Even if they are only for me and it doesn’t matter.
Oh so much nicer. Why do i always cheap out on finishing for me? i know i don’t matter, but i have a feeling others will want to see these if i wear them out of the house so i should have a decent seam with the ends woven in, instead of just holding the two ends together and saying “Whatever”. now to find time to redo the first mitt’s seam is the question of the day.
20100118- life got in the way but i’m now in the second repeat after the thumb gusset thanks to a wait at the dentist. will sadly need to break into a full skein to finish these up as i’m out of scraps from the Veste
20100117- finished first mitt. no changes to pattern. it’s wonderful, super fast and fun use of short rows. sewed a super crappy seam though because I was rushing to get it on my cold hands.. these are definitely for me and i’m not sure i’ll let them out of the house! i see many more pairs in my future. :)
