PCO 38. stockinette for 5 rows. purl one row, stockinette for 5 rows, close hem. break yarn.
Repeat as above but do not break yarn. cast on 4 and knit first hemmed portion onto needle. being careful not to twist, cast on another 4 and join round. make note of where fold line is.

2011-02-18- still need to make some sort of embellishment for the outside. need to work on my lining skills.
2011-01-27- plain colour, liberty of london print lining. will do some flowers (with buttons & pins) as accent so m can play with them or put them in dt’s hair. kitchenered bottom together and now wondering if that was a bad idea -- need to figure out the strap system!!
2011-01-19- playing with stitch patterns & colourwork because it looks too plain to me. (i know, right?) do not like pattern i just chose (carrousel check) need to find something else. perhaps a closed star?
2011-01-16- 6 inches from hem. makes good nighttime car knitting now that it’s in the round.
