Notes

1/11/11:
Forgot that this was worked sideways. Started working on a wavy edge. DUH! Good thing only knitted a few rows!

To keep track of the 16 rows of Box Stitch, use the purl bumps as guide. With RS facing, there’s should be 3 purl square bumps.

2/10/11:
Finally finished! Boss Lady wanted elastic bands instead of buttons.

  1. So I joined the side of skirt using the 3-needle BO technique but using only 2 needles. Method: Insert needle as if to knit on the current st on needle AND the CO st (where the start of skirt), knit, BO as usual.

  2. For waistband, PU 81 sts on the wrong, and St st for about 0.5”. Using the same 3 needle BO technique as joining the side, to join to the top of skirt. Then, insert 1/4” soft elastic bands.
