During the test knitting of Genevieve 8, my 2nd also requested for her own cardi.

My chosen knit option:

• 2 yrs old
• fold down collar
• lace edge only
• 3/4 sleeves
• puff sleeves
• button band cuff

Mods:

• knit collar up to 2.5”
• added button holes as my daughter prefer it over the button loop - therefore 5 sts on band instead of 3 sts
• used m1 instead of yo to increase as daughter doesn’t want the “holes” in her sleeve ;)

Finished garment measurements for a chest 21” child:
Circumference = 27.5” (would be 26.5” if I knit 3 sts band)
Length = 15.5”
Sleeve length = 12”
Button band cuff circumference = 9” (buttoned). I sew the button 0.5” from the edge.
Button band cuff circumference, unbutton = 6” (this is including the button hole tab)
