Using 2 circular needles and Judy’s Magic Cast On, I cast on 22 stitches and increased up to 58 stitches:
increase every row 3 times
increase every other row 4 times
increase every third row 2 times

With 29 stitches on each needle, I worked the sole in stocking stitch and the instep in @P1, K3, rpt from @ to last stitch, P1

When the foot measured 8 inches from the cast on edge, I moved two stitches from each end of the instep to the heel needle (33 stitches total on the heel) and worked a short row heel leaving 9 stitches unwrapped/unworked in the middle.

I switched to dpns and knitted the leg with the front (instep) in pattern and the back (heel) stitches in stocking stitch. When the leg measured 6 inches, I switched to 1 x 1 ribbing for the cuff for another inch, then cast off using EZ’s sewn cast off.
