Notes

Glad I’m finished now, the monotone pattern got sooo boring towards the end. But the end result is lovely! The cowl is extremely warm and so light.

If I were to make another one, I should cast on a bit more stitches (like 50, for example). Then the cowl would be a bit shorter.

I used all of the skein and the total weight of the cowl is 100 grams. There were two knots in the yarn and they disrupted the striping. But I think it’s okay, it won’t show when the cowl is being worn.

I started with size 9 mm bamboo needles but the result was too light for my taste. So I started over.

I changed to size 7 mm Novita’s plastic needles but the yarn got stuck all the time. How annoying…

Then I changed to size 6 mm bamboo needles and now they work like a charm! They don’t get the yarn stuck and the pattern is dense enough yet still light.

CO 40 sts. Fisherman’s rib for the whole skein.
