Notes

29 Jan - Finally blocked - though I may need to re-do it (there’s a tale to tell there)

Currently it measures 30” from centre back tip to the bottom of the fronts, and about 25” wide across the widest part.

I used 20g of yarn, though would not necessarily trust the accuracy of my kitchen scales at that level! Approx 300 yards used.

I still need to sew the ends in.

There’s another one of these on the needles, in a yarn of the same weight but in a different composition. I’d like to do a third, in crochet cotton.

Just while I wait for the new circs to arrive so I can finish my Colors Squared shawl.

I am knitting this on straight needles

7th Nov - ready to block - just as soon as my back improves.

6 Nov - 31 points knitted - taking a long time…

4 Nov - cast on last night. A fun fast knit. I’ve not had to tink a single stitch.

Already on the edging - and have found it to be very quickly memorised.

9 points knitted so far.

Recommended for both new lace knitters and as a “pick up and take anywhere” project. The construction is simple and all that is needed is a quick glance at the instructions for each section - no need to carry a pattern with you.
