REACTIVATING for WIPCrackAway:24 Oct 2014
Will assess and either finish knitting, or rip and repurpose.
27 Oct 2014* FINISHED!!! Not without excitement, including my first experience with cutting a project at the cast-on end, picking up the stitches from the bottom, and knitting a new “beginning”! This is the 3rd FO for WIPCrackAway - soooo good!**
ETA 22Oct2012: just noticed that it has been almost 3 years since I started this project. Must locate it and actually do something with it!
love. this. yarn.
I have ripped back this scarf TWICE because of imaginary flaws. Really, I just wanted to not be finished knitting with this amazing yarn.
Am now at the halfway point. Again :)
Cast on 54 stitches, leaving very long tail.
Row 1: K2 tog across row, using doubled yarn (working yarn plus tail), leaving 27 stitches to work for scarf.
K 5 rows., slipping first st on each row.
Then sl1, K2, YO, K2t repeat; ending with K2.
Pattern:
Row 1, 2 & 3: slip 1, then K across row.
Row 4: sl1, K2, YO, K2t repeat; ending with K2.
Repeat til 28 YO rows.

ETA: this is the yarn that started my journey, so I’m posting a couple of pictures of the source of next year’s cashmere :)
