08/26/2011 After several false starts with the provisional cast on, I tried a new method using the Knit and Tonic Long Tail Provisional Cast On Tutorial. Let me tell you, it’s an absolute godsend. I’ve completed one repeat thus far and I’m charmed by this design. I initially found the chart’s symbols to be a bit confusing since they aren’t always centered in the individual blocks on the grid, but now my brain is on board.
