07/25 Cast on this hat while knitting with my dear pal mizelissa. She leant me a size 6 circular needle since I didn’t have any 16” circs on hand but simply had to cast on. Can’t gush enough about this yarn. It’s soft and impossibly lofty-light. Flying off the needles. Already into the second lace panel.
08/01 Took no time to knit this at all. Lace panels were complicated enough to be interesting, but not a challenge. Only plan to steam block since this bugger is already quite big. I was thinking on frogging out one of the lace repeats, but I think I like it as-is. Looks a bit like a hipster-hippie type uber-slouch, but it’s cute and will definitely keep me warm!
