2/25/11: My poor Evie has no hair. I got a little excited with the warm weather last week (60s!) and told Mom to go ahead and have the groomer give her a puppy cut. Must.Remember.It’s.Still.February!

Needless to say, her tiny 7 1/2 pound body doesn’t stand up to cold well and she freezes every time she goes outside. Sorry baby girl!!

And because our monster doofus of a dog, Jax (lab mix) chewed holes in all Evie’s commercially purchased sweaters, I need to knit her a new one.

3/2/11: I’ve started the shoulder increases - actually I’m to the leg openings section of the pattern. I realized last night when I was putting a circ needle in, in place of the dpns, I had never switched to the larger needle size. So I’ll have a few rows where the gauge is different. But since it’s just for Evie, no big thing.

3/8/12: I had to rip and restart as I forgot where I was and it wasn’t turning out to my liking. I’m using larger needles than recommended because I’m using Aran weight yarn. I have finished shoulder increases and have started on the body portion.

7/27/12: decided to frog this and try with a different yarn. This is too thick and dense for what is comfortable with Evie. Frogged today for opening ceremonies of Ravellenic Games 2012. Frogged around 7pm CST
