Pattern:
Size: 3-6 months
DK weight yarn
Needle size US 6 (4 mm)

Co 20 st and join in the round, using double pointed needles or a long circular needle in magic loop. Work twisted rib for 9 rounds. Continue in garter st, increasing to 25 st on the first (k) round. Work 16 rounds. On the following knit round, *k 2, k2tog* k 1 = 19 st. Purl 1 round. On the next round, decrease (*k 2, k2tog* k 3) = 15 st. Purl 1 round. On the next round, decrease (*k2, k2tog* k 3) = 12 st. Purl 1 round. Break yarn and pull through the remaining st.

Repeat for the second mitten, and weave in ends. If you wish, make a cord between the two mittens to keep them from getting lost.
