I wanted to make this jumper version of my cocktail dress since I finished the first one….

But with lacy panels on the saddles and sleeves and with longer sleeves (but not too long either) and with a much more elaborate hem….

All went well and quite quickly but I soon realized that my one skein of “dark apple” was not going to be enough… so everything stalled for more than 2 weeks, since it is a very bad thing to run out of yarn when everybody else seems to be on holiday!!!

But all went well… I finally ordered a different lot number from a german website (which looks EXACTLY the same, thank God!) after having harassed some nice ravelers that happened to have my yarn in the same lot number, but were not available at the time (and are probably still lying blissfully on a far away beach, not thinking about yarn or the lack of it)…
