Top garter stitch section (in contrasting color) is 5.5” long from shoulder.
Knit body in main color until stockinette section is 6” long. (No cables)
Knit 3 ridges garter stitch in contrasting color.
Knit 4 rows stockinette of main body color.
Knit 3 ridges garter stitch in contrasting color.
Cast off.
Total length 13.5” as per pattern.
Width under arms: 10”

I had planned to frog this after I got 1” of the cable section done - it didn’t look right in this color. I was persuaded by a friend to just leave out the cable panel and use contrasting colors instead to match the other sweater I was making for her twin sister. I’m still not sure about it, but it’s an improvement.

Yarn totals approximate. Used 2 skeins of each color to knit this and “In Threes” baby cardigan.
