Made small hat to compensate for gauge. Math works out to a hat about the same size as the medium one following the gauge in the pattern.

Cowl: CO only 80 sts (14.5” neck) and followed the rest of the instructions for a size small. Fits great.

Yarn amount approximate but I had plenty of yarn for both the hat and cowl without sweating it near the end.
