I cast this Baby Sophisticate on while my husband was in hospital. I started with 6.5mm needles (not thinking clearly, obviously) and ended up pulling it apart as it was too floppy. Started again with 6mm needles and much happier than before.

I have finished knitting the body and the sleeves, and decided to block it before starting on the collar as the edges were a little curly. I’m not sure if this will turn out to be a mistake or not! Cardigan is blocked and I’m just waiting for it to dry before starting on the collar.

Well, I’ve finished knitting the collar but am not loving the w&t stitches - it seems a to have a few holes :( Oh well, I don’t think they’ll be noticeable once there’s a cute baby wearing it!

I think it will be a good size for a boofy 6mth old boy. I’ll post dimensions when finished. Now, for some buttons…
