31/12/11 - done the thumb gusset, maybe I can knit this tonight and finish it for 2011? Depends on how many glasses of wine I drink!

21/11/11 - done the cuff, and about half done the thumb gusset. The push is on to get this mitten done and off my needles!

10/11/11 - having a hard time working on the second mitten! I feel like second sock syndrome is biting me! I must finish these!

3/11/11 - the first mitten is blocking and I’m almost finished the cuff on the second.

28/10/11 - Finished the main bit for the first mitten, I’ll kitchner closed the top tomorrow when I’m fresh (less risk of having to redo) and hopefully I can get the thumb done during the volleyball tournament.

Maybe even block it tomorrow night and cast on for the second! Whoot!

Earlier: past the thumb, feels like it’s going faster now

27/10/11 - I wish I had more hours in the day to knit. I feel like these are going oh so slowly… I also have a feeling that these will be a ladies medium to large. The pattern is coming out big just as many who’ve made them have posted. Good thing they’re not for me!

26/10/11 - started chart 1. Love these two colours together! The blue yarn is a bit shiney, very pretty.

25/10/11 - Did 15 rounds of corrugated ribbing

Using Knit Picks in Cream and the left over bit from the Cedar Leaf Shawlette I made last year.

I’d like to have the knitting finished by the end of the month.
