Notes

28/3/13 - I frogged this the other day… I know… gasp… but I never wear it. It’s just a tad too big and I’m not a fan of the neckline. I think if it was a v-neck I’d enjoy it more.

So I’m repurposing the yarn for my Ebb.

14/4/11 - I was just looking at this sweater today and thinking about reknitting it. It grew with blocking like crazy and it’s a bit big in the bust. I wish I was a bit “big” in the bust. Other than that it fits fine, and I like the length. I’ll ponder it a bit more.

21/1/11 - I’m not done the blocking! I am doing the blocking today, right now! Should have final pics by the end of the weekend :)

16/1/11 - Done the knitting, blocking! Yay!

AM -Cast off the hem, on to the sleeves! Picked up 3 stitches in the gap and knit 7 rounds.

14/1/11 - One more repeat and I think the length will be about right.

AM -just joined the fourth ball. Need to check fit today and maybe go down a few needle sizes for some waist shaping.

13/1/11 - you know for a simple lace pattern, this top is driving me crazy! I ripped back yet again, and this time placed markers every 9 stitches in a sad attempt to get a handle on my inability to count.

It’s working.

I finished a whole repeat (16 rounds) of the lace pattern. Only about half a dozen more to go…

12/1/11 - I ripped back all the lace and knit plain st st for 3 inches. I want the lace to start just under my bust. I’m about halfway thru the first repeat of lace.

11/1/11 - I actually picked this up and a few rounds today. I think I made a mistake in the lace though so I may have to tink back.

4/11/10 - separated sleeves, starting lace. Almost done one repeat, joined 3rd ball of yarn.

3/11/10 - Finished first skein, not done increases yet.

Earlier: My swatch turned out just a wee bit small but I’m okay with that. I think the 34in may be a bit on the big side anyway.

I’ve gotten most of the way through the raglan increases, about 5 inches worth.

Really happy with the colour and the denseness of this yarn. The stitch definition is wonderful. Makes me want to knit cables!

1/11/10 - swatching tonight, yay! Love the colour. It’s not as dark as I thought but lovely nonetheless.

19/10/10 - I ordered 6 skeins of Lark in a lovely green for this. I can’t wait to cast on in November! Love it!

This is really not helping my yarn diet stashdown goals!
