Knitting along with the Shannon TTT KAL!

Really pleased with how this turned out. The pattern was easy to follow and uniquely constructed, and it was a quick and fun knit. I’m headed to Mexico in June 2015, and this’ll make a great coverup, especially in this lovely cotton/linen blend.

Got gauge (for the most part) with 6 mm needles.

Mods:

• Knit to 11.5” instead of 10” to widen armhole.
• Picked up 48 stitches around armhole.

It turns out that I probably could’ve just knit the 10”, since this fabric stretched enough, but I’m happy with a looser fit at the sleeves.

ETA: Just a note about this yarn. It stretches out after a while of wear (usually good the first time, but starts to bag out with continued wear). However, this yarn behaves really well in the washer and dryer. It shrinks back down nicely, and is getting very soft! It started to pile a bit, but I think it’s because it got tossed in without the garment bag I meant to wash it in. Still very much in love with the fabric this yarn creates!
