I have started and stopped this blanket twice. Third time’s a charm?

I am determined to make this some day. Maybe I should set small goals. Let’s say I’d like to have 100 rows done by August 16, 2011 -> 1 month from today.

August 14, 2011 Well, my month is almost up, and I am nowhere near 100 rows. In the past week, I have renewed my intentions to get this thing done. I have about 36 rows done. It is starting to take shape. Maybe I can set a smaller goal…finish 100 rows by Sept. 14? I’ve got 64 to go…

August 20, 2011 52 rows done! I’m on a roll! I’ve updated the picture if you want to see my progress.

August 31, 2011 I had to put it down for awhile. I made a big mistake and frustrated. But I picked it back up, fixed the mistake tonight, and even got a few more rows done on top of that. I’m back, baby!

September 24, 2011 Finally did my 100th row! Took me over 2 months, but whatever :) I got new interchangeable needles today, and I moved my blanket to them. I went from aluminum to nickel…hopefully this won’t screw up my gauge.

November 20, 2011 Still plugging and chugging away at this. I have taken some breaks, but I’m still working. It is just reeeeaaaaalllllyyyy slow going.

January 14, 2012 Project has officially gone into hibernation. I’m sad, but happy to begin working on something else, for a change. I kept telling myself I couldn’t do anything else until I finished it, and eventually that turned into me not knitting at all. I’ve got it stored on a Knit Picks cable, and I hope I’ll pick it up again!

September 1, 2012 Temporarily out of hibernation while I order supplies for my next project :)

September 1, 2013 Haha, a year later…still not done! Oy. I’m working on it and hoping to finish SOON. This is the NEVER ENDING BLANKET. Doesn’t help that I am the WORLD’S SLOWEST KNITTER.

October 9, 2013 Hey, y’all still chugging away. Started using lifelines because I seem to be making a lot of errors. I’ve been back and forth knitting, tinking, and frogging, so my vertical progress has suffered a bit, but I WILL FINISH THIS BLANKET.
