Notes

I vowed to takes notes!!! I took alot of notes, ripped, set down for months, try again…. and may be one more time. The hardest part was knitting it top down and figuring out the number of stitches across the back, and the number of stitches to create the arms.

Once I got over this core piece it was a fun project to knit. I love the texture of the moss stitch with this wool.

The wool I knit with is the most enjoyable experience on knitting for the last 13 years.

Here are the beginnings my notes. The key is to make a test gauge for each of the stitches. If I were to do it again, I would build a bust of my body so I could knit it measuring against the best rather than awkwardly looking in the mirror and measuring myself. lol. Either that, or be lucky to have an awesome husband who is patient with you asking for help measuring.

One of my own changes to the pattern was to make the horse shoe cables meeting each other in the center.

Back to the notes…
