Love these mitts at this tighter gauge- wind doesn’t penetrate! Snug, but not too tight. I’ve only had these a few days and I already don’t know how I’ve survived without them this long.

Made them a little longer than typical mitts so only the tips of fingers and thumb are exposed and they’re perfect for waiting at the bus stop with my son in the chilly mornings (and drizzly, windy, afternoons.)

Definitely need to make a back-up pair (or two)

Modifications:
Fingerless mitts
Size 5 needles for entire mitt
K1,P1 for ribbing
Used M1L and M1R for increases
Stretchy bind off for hand
Regular bind off for thumb
