cardigan with an argyle pattern of minicables & picot.

24 nov: swatched.

25 nov: cast on 199 sts. ugh. worked one row of k1p1 rib. ugh.

26 nov: still with the endless rib. but this yarn is a joy to work with!

27 nov: 20 of 24 rows of ribbing done before i can move on to the actual pattern…

28 nov: did 22 rows or rib in the end. change to larger needles, purl 1 row increasing to 225 sts. it is going so much faster now that i’m done the bloody ribbing!!

11 dec: have been working away in the argyle pattern. finished the first ball of yarn at about the same time as i started separating fronts & back at the armscye. almost done one front now, with all the decreasing it goes quickly!

23 jan: set this aside to work on some gift projects, picked it up again in january. fronts & back are done, shoulder seams joined, and i’m working on the first sleeve

28 feb really hoped to get this done by the end of feb, but i’ve still the button band to do. intend to have it done tomorrow morning.

2 march - done!! soaking now ready to block. ends are run in, but i need to add buttons.

eta - blocking now! love how this pattern looks!
