Used 2 strands of 4 ply/fingering yarn together
Gauge: 18 stitches and 26 rows is 10cm
5mm needles used throughout.

I paired the large stripe with the small stripe and to get a heathered look rather than the prominent bands of colour.

After I’d cast off the sleeves, I cast on 6 stitches under each arm as I worked the body sections. On the following row I knit the edge stitches (i.e. the 1st and 6th of the newly cast on stitches) together with the edge stitches from the sleeves and this closed up the gaps.
