NOTES:

• To begin with the pattern is abit vague, & assumes you know to knit the stitches as they are on the EVEN rows. i.e: Purl the purl stitches and knit all other stitches.
• You must already know how to knit socks, to adapt this to this pattern I found.

04Sep11: I started this today, I’m half way down the first leg of the first sock. Did 2 and 1/2 chart repeats.
NB: 1/2 meaning I stopped on row 13. I didnt cable on row 13 as well. I wanted a smooth transition into the heel flap & crook of the ankle and instep.

05Sep11: I’m using an “eye of partridge” heel flap & Dutch heel. Complete heelflap = 32 rows

Eye of Partridge Heel Flap:
Row 1 (RS): {Sl1, K1} rep across ending K1.
Row 2 & all even rows: Sl1, {P} across.
Row 3: Sl 2, {K1, Sl1} rep across, ending with K2.

06Sep11:

• Picked up 17 stitches on each side of heelflap.
• Gusset decreases done, back to 66sts.
• Knitting halfway down the foot … YAY!

16Sep11:
On the final stretch … 2 more inches before I decrease for the toe … homefreeeeeee! :)

17Sep11:
ALL DONE & BLOCKED …
