Seriously wtf is up with my row gauge?

Pattern gauge:
Double moss stitch, post blocking: 19stx30row = 4x4”
32 st panel Chart A or C, post blocking: 32stx30row = 5x4”

My gauge:
Double moss stitch, post blocking: 20stx20row = 4x4”
32 st panel Chart A, post blocking: 32stx20row = 5x4”

Swatched again with US6 and it’s near perfect. 18.5x32 on double moss. It was perfect pre-blocking, funny enough. Just means I won’t necessarily have to block a ton. woo.

Exciting Saturday night / Sunday morning of swatching complete.

US6 is going to be my going forward needle. My gauge with US6 turned out to be ~17x28 on moss, ~27x30 on cables.

Math will have to be done, but the row gauge is much better and so it’s just a choice of sizing to make up for the difference on stitch gauge.

Did the tubular cast on at the end of the workday. Literally only got the first 4 setup rows done, it was different from my normal tubular but it looks nice. Wouldn’t do it again on another project, but it was good.

2/3 done with the sleeve increases. They are 17” long.
