My friend & artist Josh Ellingson drew a cute little egg-shaped robot and posted it online. He was recovering from health problems, and I thought his cute robot doodle would make an adorable plush, so I thought I would make it for him as a get-well gift.

So I just found this egg cozy as the base, used some plastic plush eyes & felt, sewed, glued, and embroidered the arms & face, filled it with poly-fill, added a few more rounds to close it up, and sewed on the legs.

I may want to try it again and build in a wire skeleton to make it posable. I also found another egg pattern that would probably work fine: http://imaginarywardrobe.blogspot.com/2008/08/silly-eggs.... and am curious to try it in knitted form as well.
