I decreased several stitches out of each of the fingers because this pattern tends to run rather wide in the fingers if you follow it to the letter. I had a pretty good fit when they were done, but after just one brief wearing these gloves have “grown” significantly, and being 50/50 acrylic/rayon I doubt that there is any form of blocking that can fix that. (Not that it would matter… It took only literally minutes on my hands for this yarn to stretch noticeably. Even if I did manage to block them back to the proper size, it would only last until I put them on again.) At least I got the yarn on clearance, so I don’t feel that I wasted a lot of money.

Other changes I made to the pattern was to reverse the direction of the cables on one glove in order to make them mirror images of each other, and to decrease the number of rounds worked between the start of the pinky finger and the remaining fingers from 4 rounds to 2.
