Loved doing this top-down with the Thorpe pattern I had inspiration from Chicknit and then with the Thorpe using Noro, from another project by appleomyeye…. Thank you both!

I worked Alex’s with a size 8 needle and the larger size.

Roo’s I dropped to a size 7 and the smaller version (meant I had to drop a train motif and chart out ROO for the back of his hat) to make it work. I wish I had stuck to the 8; I think he will only be able to wear it this year.

The boys love their hats, especially Roo, which gives their Noni great pleasure. =)
