Started with size 5 needles, which made them too snug, so I went up to size 6s.

Only did 3 cable repeats before the thumb increases, and decided not to twist the knit stitches on even rows in the ribbing on the hand and thumb. Also used the sewn bind off instead of binding off in pattern.
