Yarn:

• S-Twist
• angle: 37.1 degrees
• 18-24 wpi (fingering)
• 7 TPI
• 6.5 sts/inch

1. followed pattern as written for 11”

2. Knitting next 7” in stockinette (so I can wear to work)

3. Knit in razor pattern for 1” (3 holes) NOTE: add these straps with the pattern in center

4. knit two rows - then (being sure straps are knitted above proper patterned area) cast off 43 sts, purl 2 knit 13 purl 2, cast off 7, purl 2 knit 13 purl 2, cast off 43, purl 2 knit 13 purl 2, cast off 7, purl 2 knit 13 purl 2. now you are left with nowhere to go. Break your yarn and place the last two (purl 2 knit 13 purl 2) sections on a holder for now.

5. knit back and forth in pattern as listed below for the front straps until the are knitted to length needed to reach top of shoulders (I attached two balls of yarn and knot both at the same time): a. always knit the first and last two stitches a1. the 13 sts between should be knit as such (knit 5, sl 1, k2tog, psso, knit 5 (total of 17 sts) b. alway knit the first and last two stitches b1. purl back

6. do the same with the back straps knitting to length needed for top of shoulder. You can also cross the straps if you want - but they will need to be longer to do so.
