for our goddaughter’s 1st birthday in September (she opened it a little early…it fits!!)

project notes:

• finished weight 106.5g so I did have to barely dip into a third ball of yarn
• followed pattern exactly ~ very easy to follow
• button bands : for each side I picked up 17st between neck and bottom of lower yoke garter ridge, 22st along ss body and 5st on lower garter band
• next one I’ll either put the buttons closer together or add a third…the two are just a tad too far apart
• wet blocked in Eucalan
• found 2 perfect vintage plastic baby buttons in my button box
• yarn was from a clearance bin at Fiber Gallery and I have enough left to make a hat and/or matching leg warmers

why do I not have a Tea Leaves cardi of my own? must remedy this & soon!
