Notes

Just need to try an alternate seam while the pattern (Burly Bias) is going through its final edits.

This one is a long-striping variegated chunky sticky wool. The colors are a bit vintage to me, I guess it’s the tan added to the warm pastels.

Totally content with this star stitch seam idea. This is the first time I’ve loved the look of a perpendicular seam: row ends joined along the length of a row.

Helps that the blue lasted for almost all of the star stitches.

LOVE this shape for a cowl: a shaping cheat! (As long as I can also turn the very prominent seam into a “design detail”.) Easy way to make a simple rectangle flare at the shoulders. Settles nicely in place.
