I like this Ropy Puff Stitch I came up with for the border. Other types of tall stitches or puffs didn’t do it for me. This star stitch fabric is so distinctive. It needed a different texture for the edging.

Now that I really just have ends to weave in, I’ve decided the stitch pattern and border are perfect for a coverlet.
As a jacket pattern, it would run too long. I really love the notched lapels though.
I also love that it’s reversible (border is too).
